Spiro

Buenos Dias!
Today I have my monthly gift to myself.... a deep tissue back massage! They are the best. I bring my specially made CD of my favorite soft music, and just float away. Ahhhh.

Oh, about the title of the blog, SPIRO.
My friend Laura moved to Maryland and mentioned she is now registered to vote there. If she ever reads this, I wonder if she can tell me who the current Governor is? I remember thinking about a former Gov named Spiro Agnew. Did you ever notice that no one has named their child Spiro since Mr' Agnew was convicted?
That leads me to my thought of the day.....
I think that the name SPIRO should be added to my list from yesterdays blog. I am going to buy 2 dogs, a Spitz and a Rotwieler. Yes, I will create th first SPIRO!

Portmanteau names

OK, that's my word of the day. Portmanteau. I was following a link the msn homepage, and ended up reading about hybrid dogs, or as I call them, "frankendogs". We have all heard of a cockapoo, a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. Well, I never knew that designer dogs have reached the critical stage so quickly! Some of these names are just...well, too funny!

CHEEKS.... but I would have to own two of them, wouldn't I? I mean, if I was walking a CHEEK, it just doesn't sound right to say, "Um, Yes, this in my CHEEK...." It would sound much better to say, "Oh, Yes, these are my CHEEKS...aren't they cute!...Go ahead, you can touch them, my CHEEKS don't bite! Yes, you can even kiss my CHEEKS, they love when you do that, and they will kiss you back! I just love my CHEEKS, except for cleaning up the yard. You should see the shit that comes out of my CHEEKS!"

My second favorite would be JUGS....but you can use your own imagination there.
Same with a BULL-SHIH.
Who wouldn't love to own a BOXSPRING!

I think I will take this one step further.... and imagine what would happen if I let my CHEEKS play with the neighbor's JUGS, an a BOXSPRING showed up....hmmm, I just don't want to go there!

This is my first blog, so I feel I should make it sort of special.
I guess I'll talk about Gracie. The dog everyone loves.... to hate, lol.
She loves everyone...to a fault, if that's possible. The kids wanted her so badly... in the beginning. Now, all I hear is... GRACIE, GET AWAY! Or, GRACIE, leave Rocky alone! Or Gracie, you are so bad. Personally, I love Gracie. We are like two peas in a pod. I feel like I am like a Gracie, in a human sort of way (whatever that means)! Yes, in the beginning, everyone I meet and fall in love with loves me... but after a few years (and in one instance a few months) the tide turns and I am told I am no longer loved, wanted, needed... like Gracie! So, that's why I love Gracie.
I can feel her pain. OK, Gracie doesn't let it bother her, she doesn't change her ways. She still greets everyone, wants to play with everyone, LOVES everyone. Is there a lesson there? Hmmmm, from the mouth of dogs. LOL.
